D40L49 Aluminum Coupling 15mmx15mm
They are also called Elastomer Couplings because there is plastic or rubber material between the aluminum couple. Elastomeric coupling types have shock absorption properties. This Flexible Coupling with an outer diameter of 40 mm and a length of 49 mm is a machined aluminum coupling.
This type of compression coupling does not damage the shafts. It offers very easy connection and separation. They are useful in reducing angular and axial alignment errors.
Avoid using elastomeric couplings in environments where they will be exposed to high temperatures or UV light, as operating in these environments will significantly reduce the life of the coupling.
