They are also called Elastomer Couplings because they are equipped with plastic or rubber material between the aluminum pair. Elastomeric coupling types have the ability to provide shock absorption. This Flexible Coupling with an outer diameter of 40 mm and a length of 49 mm is a machined aluminum coupling.
This type of clamping coupling does not damage the shafts. It offers a very easy connection and disconnection. They are useful in reducing angular and axial misalignment.
